It is also a book of memory, the will of a man who has taken refuge in a hotel in the depths of Canada, who had to flee his homeland, and later Europe, because he knew too much.” The translation of the book Darkness was commissioned in 2020 by Quattro Books. The final translation was submitted and approved. Its publication, as well as publication of other books by the same publisher was delayed because of COVID, then later because of other extenuating circumstances.
